Eagle County Airport to Vail

Denver Airport is not the only place travelers can fly to reach Vail and Beaver Creek.  Outside of the Vail-Beaver Creek area is Eagle County Airport.  Eagle County Airport is a small one runway airport that now offers commercial service year round.  They do have downtimes in the spring and fall where commercial service is not offered, only private. Eagle County airport is significantly closer to Beaver Creek than Denver International and closer to Vail as well. 

Travel times to and from Eagle County Airport can vary greatly since this airport is in the heart of the rockies. Ranging anywhere from thirty minutes to over an hour, snow, sleet, rain, wind, and much more play a factor in the travel time.  The airport has easy access to I 70 which is the same interstate used for travel from Denver.
